There are several ways to search the National Occupational Classification Web site:

Index of Titles:
This allows you to search the Index of titles alphabetically, by keyword, by NOC code, by skill type and skill level.

Structure:
This allows you to search through the Structure of the NOC.

Descriptions:
This allows you to search by keyword(s) or by entering a one to four digit code. It also allows you to search by section(s) of the descriptions.

Complex Search:
This allows you to do a complex search of the NOC by keyword(s) or NOC code, using and/or, like, exact, begins with, ends with. It also allows you to search sections of the structure, the descriptions and or the Index of Titles. Furthermore, and you can indicate the order of the results to be displayed by choosing ascending, descending, code, group title and skill level.

Allows the user to drill down through the Classification structure by skill type 0 through 9. Once the user has clicked on a specific skill type they receive a structure page that includes major, minor and unit group of selected skill type.
The NOC 2011 Matrix provides an overview of the entire occupational classification structure based on Skill Levels and Skill types. A PDF (portable document format) and HTML version of the NOC Matrix.
An online tutorial to help users learn about the NOC and use it effectively.
This is the counselling version of the NOC. It provides ratings on descriptor scales used in counselling such as aptitudes, interests and physical activities.
Promotes and provides access to users of the "Job Description: An Employers' Handbook" in a PDF or HTML format.
